Introduction

Brainwashed by our pain-avoidant culture, our egos try to boss our minds, bodies and souls around. “Quit crying.” “You’re strong.” “Get over it already.” However, society's indoctrination to hurry up and get over it is inadvertently creating the pain paradox. People are being forced to try to “heal” in the trappings of shameful isolation and misery. But if we still ourselves and allow our deepest, truest inner voice to be heard over the ego’s tyrannical whispers, we will come to realize that hardship and human suffering is NORMAL and not something to get over. Pain, no matter how subtle or severe, is a form of energy that demands to be acknowledged, befriended and accommodated. Even the deepest pain can be used for empowerment and personal growth. I propose we put together a plan of therapeutic techniques, TAILORED SPECIFICALLY TO YOUR NEEDS to help you learn to fully embrace everything about yourself, your circumstances and to use the pain as fuel for your journey to peace.
