Introduction
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience providing therapy in community mental health and private practice. My experience has allowed me to work with a variety of people ranging in age from young children through our older adult population, as well as with many types of different cultural and religious backgrounds. I have been formally trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which encompasses the importance of our thoughts and how they influence our feelings and behaviors and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is evidenced-based and an effective treatment for trauma.
