I work with individuals, couples, and families from all types of backgrounds. I am a very come-as-you-are therapist. Humans are messy and inconsistent, we crave change and also dig our heels in to avoid it. I love to work with people who are willing to examine these inconsistencies, who are open to new perspectives and taking steps to feeling more at peace--even in this truly chaotic time in history! As a clinician, I draw from narrative, existential, and rational-emotive behavioral therapy approaches. In non-psychobabble terms, I work to help people examine different aspects of their lives, to exact change and practice acceptance where it's needed. I am well-versed in the issues that LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and neurodivergent people face in today's world. If you are someone looking for a collaborative therapist who will hold space for you without judgement, and who will challenge you without being condescending, I encourage you to reach out! I understand how difficult it is to make the first step, so I offer a free consult to see if we are a good match.
