Hello, I'm Ashley King, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC #6669) and founder of Beautiful State Counseling & Consulting, LLC. As a therapist, I'm deeply passionate about guiding individuals through life's challenges with compassion, empowerment, and a focus on personal growth. I have been licensed in South Carolina since 2017, holding a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the College of Charleston and a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of immersing myself in the art and science of counseling, walking alongside individuals during their most difficult times, and celebrating their growth and successes along the way. But it was my own experiences of navigating major life transitions and moments of personal growth that led me to establish Beautiful State Counseling & Consulting. Inspired by the words of my late fiancé, Carlton, I created this practice as a beacon of hope and support for individuals seeking to live in a 'beautiful state' of mind, no matter the circumstances.
