Introduction

I am an LPCC-S, LCDC III specializing in adults struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. My passion is in helping others overcome the many obstacles that stand in the way of happiness and wellness. My areas of expertise include: trauma, depression, anxiety, self-esteem/self-worth, life adjustments, military/veterans issues, substance use and severe mental illness. I use an integrated therapeutic approach to assist clients in reaching their goals for therapy. I believe the therapist should adapt to the client; rather than the client to the therapist. This results in clients receiving personalized care based upon their individual needs and often a mixture of treatment approaches are integrated into sessions. These treatment approaches include but are not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused, Humanistic, and Strengths Based Therapies. During our sessions, you will be able to share in a safe and non-judgmental space. Goals are based upon what you as a client would like to work toward. As a therapist I will assist you in reaching these goals as if I am the GPS and you are in the driver's seat so to speak. As we encounter obstacles, road blocks, detours and accidents along the way, we will learn to navigate these through using your strengths and natural resiliency to reroute us in the right direction toward your destination.
