Introduction

Hello! My name is Ashley, and I am a clinical mental health counselor and a clinical addiction specialist. I am here to help you get through those difficult spots in life by offering compassionate support. In my practice, I am deeply committed to providing client-centered and trauma-informed therapy, tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual I work with. Through a compassionate and empathetic approach, I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered on their journey towards healing and self-discovery. Utilizing a blend of therapeutic modalities, including client-centered, play therapy, motivational interviewing, and various other techniques, I adapt my approach to best suit the needs and preferences of my clients. Whether it's exploring past traumas, navigating life transitions, or addressing everyday challenges, I offer a collaborative and flexible space for clients to explore, grow, and thrive. As an advocate for diversity and inclusion, I am dedicated to providing affirming and culturally competent care to individuals from all backgrounds, with a particular focus on creating a safe and welcoming space for LGBTQA+ and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) individuals. I continuously educate myself on issues related to privilege, power dynamics, and systemic inequalities, striving to be an ally and advocate for social justice both in and out of the therapy room. In an effort to make therapy more accessible, I operate on a sliding scale payment system, foregoing insurance in favor of prioritizing affordability and flexibility for my clients. This allows me to maintain a commitment to inclusivity and ensures that financial constraints are not a barrier to receiving quality mental health care. Overall, my goal is to provide a compassionate, affirming, and empowering therapeutic experience that honors the unique strengths and experiences of each individual, fostering growth, resilience, and positive change.
