A personal mission of mine is to advocate for social justice, dedicating my efforts to creating a more equitable and inclusive world. I am committed to standing up for the rights of marginalized communities, amplifying the voices of the silenced and unheard, and challenging systemic injustices ranging from healthcare disparities to apartheid. Through activism and compassionate action, I strive to defend and support those who are vulnerable, fostering a society where everyone can thrive with dignity and respect. As an LGBT+ affirming therapist I have experience treating clients with many diagnoses including generalized anxiety disorder, major depressive disorder, somatic symptom disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder. I have also worked with people who have struggled with gender identity, sexuality, family conflict, and relationship issues. My approach to therapy is one of collaboration that honors my clients as the experts of their own lives while incorporating my therapeutic knowledge. Positive changes my clients see after consistently working with me include decreased anxiety, higher self-esteem, improved communication skills, effective boundary setting, and healthier relationships.
