While I'm a board-certified psychiatrist with extensive clinical experience, I consider myself - first and foremost - a therapist who simply has more tools at his disposal. As such, my approach shuns the conventional practice of overemphasizing diagnostic labels and medications. Life - with you in it - is more complicated than that. I can be of help if you seek: to gain more insight into yourself and your relationships, to understand how various parts of your life weave together to form the fabric of who you are, and to put in the personal work of implementing evidence-based behavioral and physiological interventions for wellness that minimizes and prevents reliance on medications. Each of us has the chance to learn and grow by working through life's challenges and discovering who we are along the way. I'm here to help you on that journey.
