My name is Ariel Borges, and I am Mental Health Counselor located in the Shenandoah/Brickell/Coral Gables. I offer in person and telehealth services. I specialize in Emerging Adulthood, Young adults, Anger Management, Impulsive disorders, Relationship issues, Career-related stress. I have plenty of experiences working with clients that experience transitions and life crisis, depression and anxiety disorder. I have a background in Psychoanalytic therapy and Psychoanalysis, which help me to understand and work on a deep level of the emotions/conflicts presented in our daily life. You deserve to understand yourself, to change the patterns that are no longer serving you, to process the past, and to lead a joyful experience of your life. As a mental health counselor, I employs an evidence-based approach guided by clients’ needs and aspirations. My work is informed by training in psychodynamic psychotherapy and humanistic psychology. I also routinely takes part in continuing education so that my own view of what is possible in therapy is constantly evolving and expanding.
