Hello! My name is Arianna and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes everyone should feel seen, heard and affirmed. My priority as a therapist is to recognize the diverse cultural backgrounds of people with the goal of integrating that understanding into effective and respectful therapeutic interventions. I believe firmly in the impacts of our pattern of thought on our behaviors and how important it is to be intentional in how we think about ourselves, speak about ourselves and treat ourselves. I lean into therapeutic approaches such as Mindfulness, Psychodynamic Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to meet the individual mental health needs of BIPOC identifying folks. I strive to provide care that is client-centered, LGBTQIA+ affirming and culturally aware. I see folks experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma/stress-related responses, self-relationship/identity discovery and concerns establishing healthy boundaries. It is my hope that with therapy, people feel an increased sense of self-reliance and self-determination. I obtained my Bachelor of Science from Northern Illinois University, my Master of Public Health from George Washington University and my Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I am a plant lover who enjoys my dog (Baloo), my cat (Mowgli), anime, sci-fi, music and eating (minus the cooking).
