Introduction

I am a bilingual therapist with experience working with children as young as 10 years old and individuals. My approach to counseling is client-centered and collaborative, meaning that you are involved in every aspect of your treatment and we work as a team to help you reach your goals. Majority of my work has been in helping children and young adults heal from past traumas. I help my clients address a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, communication, and attachments. I also understand cultural and systemic influences can have an impact on how we cope with challenging situations and see ourselves. A therapeutic relationship does not just benefit you; it also helps establish a relationship built on trust and empowerment. Seeking help can be scary, but not impossible. I provide support in a nonjudgmental space that allows you to freely explore all you may have been hiding for so long. My interpersonal skills allow clients to feel comfortable in attending their sessions while providing a resourceful environment for them to succeed in their treatments. I offer a free support group for high school LGBTQ+ teens. We meet weekly, in person, in Lakeland, FL. Contact me for more information.
