Introduction

I am a professional counselor with over 20 years experience. But more importantly, I am a real person who has lived through challenges too. I'm a mom of adult twin daughters, I love animals, golf, Jeeps, DIY and remodeling projects, being outside and all things artistic. I'm a former teacher, tattoo artist, singer in a rock cover band, horse trainer, and an overall goofball who loves taking risks and trying new things. I believe that finding power in the things that make you "YOU" is the the key to mental wellbeing. I am a trauma survivor, have struggled with PTSD, depression, and anxiety, and have been through divorce. I'm an expert on trauma, relationships, depression, anxiety, and parenting. I like to think of myself as a master at rebuilding after struggles, and I use a lot of humor and compassion to help my people do the same. It's important to me that my clients feel like they are talking to a real person who has faced challenges too. So come on in, pull up a chair, and let's build up some power together. My areas of expertise include PTSD, trauma and abuse recovery, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+, marriage/relationships, and parenting. I work with ages 14 and over.
