My goal is to enable clients to cope with life changes, learning differences, difficulties in thinking (cognitive deficits) and emotional instability in a supportive environment by learning self-management (mindfulness) and coping skills. I was originally trained as a New York School Psychologist before moving to Texas and training as a Psychometrist (neuropsychological assessment), Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) and Counselor. I have years of experience working in psychiatric hospitals, neuropsychological assessment and private counseling. As a Counselor, I specialize in anxiety, depression, PTSD and cognitive functioning deficits such as learning differences, attention difficulties (ADD/ADHD), concussion, traumatic brain injury (TBI), cerebrovascular accident/infarct (stroke) and degenerative diseases (dementia).
