I’m glad you’re here. Asking for help can be scary, especially when we're used to handling tough things alone. Help is available even if you're not quite sure where to start. For the past 10 years, I've worked in a variety of mental health settings supporting clients struggling with depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, anger challenges, stress management, relationship difficulties, and more. It is always an honor to be able to support to my clients on their mental health journey. My primary counseling modality is Internal Family Systems (IFS). I can help you learn how to work with troubling thoughts, feelings, situations, or sensations in a gentle way. IFS is a powerful model to help bring compassion and curiosity to parts of us that need these the most. IFS can help us heal wounds from our past and get to know ourselves in a life-changing way. My approach is person-centered, meaning my clients take the lead in reaching their goals. I'm from the Dallas-Fort Worth area. After finishing my undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin, I completed a Master of Science in Social Work at the University of Texas at Arlington. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, reading, spending time in nature, and playing guitar. I offer individual therapy via secure and confidential video sessions for adults aged 18 or older residing in Texas. Please feel free to call me at (817) 290-3021 or email me at nina@antoninahogue.com to schedule a free 15 minute phone consultation. I look forward to hearing from you!
