I conceptualize, provide coping skills, and create treatment plans primarily from a cognitive behavioral therapy approach. I believe that from an individual's childhood experiences, one inevitably creates core beliefs that influence one's thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In my sessions, I use a strength-based and interpersonal approach in helping clients achieve their goals. I have worked with domestic violence survivors, high school students, patients in psychiatric wards, parolees, and inmates. I have seen the most vulnerable people still find the resiliency to continue to grow. In a typical session, I will learn about your strengths and your relationships. I value your feedback with the goal to continue tailoring my treatment towards you. Call or email me and we can start with a free 20 minute consultation so you can decide if I can be a part of your journey.
