Introduction

Hi, thanks for dropping in! I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with clinical experience working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. I believe therapy is not only about addressing present issues and alleviating pain, but also about facilitating personal growth and exploration of meaning in life. We might have questions that are hard to answer, but I believe the process of seeking these answers are what makes our lives meaningful and encourages us to become authentic with ourselves. I'm passionate about going on this life journey with my clients and hope to facilitate the process. I work from a trauma-informed, humanistic-existential orientation with an integration of other approaches(i.e. mindfulness, CBT, ACT, family system). With respect to your autonomy, I may form my interpretation/analysis through a trauma lens as I believe trauma (i.e. systemic, familial) is one of the main sources for individuals’ pain and suffering. It is my honor and pleasure to have the chance to know you and start this therapy journey with you. My training and clinical experiences have taught me that you’re always the expert of yourself. I’d be happy to explore styles/approaches that work for you. I will always welcome you to reach out whenever you feel ready to begin.
