Introduction

I completed my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Iowa State University and my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Dakota. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and certified in EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I've been licensed in the state of Iowa since 2013. As a clinician I utilize a holistic and trauma-sensitive approach when meeting in sessions. I strive to develop an environment of connection, safety, and comfortability for you to be able to discuss your concerns. I will work collaboratively with you to ensure that your goals are being met through the therapy process. My desire is for you to be able to live a more fulfilling and meaningful life. I realize no two people are the same and tailor my therapy to meet your specific needs. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression or any other issue, I will help you recognize underlying problems, realize your strengths, and adjust behaviors and thoughts to see things a different, healthier way. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, hiking with my dog, and crocheting.
