I am passionate about partnering with you in learning to live with greater emotional and physical health. Through a therapeutic relationship characterized by non-judgement and trust, I help you identify coping mechanisms learned early in life and distinguish between those that continue to serve you well and those that get in the way of your ability to live more authentically in the present. I also feel privileged to support clients around issues of grief and loss. When you grieve, you may cling more tightly to patterns of behavior that feel oddly comforting because they are familiar, but might impede your ability to live more fully. You may be grieving the death of someone significant in your life, the end of a relationship, the loss of a job, the implications of a geographical move or the loss of your health. Perhaps you are experiencing a transition like empty nesting, parenthood, graduation, a new relationship or retirement that on the surface "should be happy" but is fraught with conflicting feelings that may surprise you. I would welcome the opportunity to learn more about what you are facing and help you discover peace and support.
