Introduction

I provide culturally responsive, integrative, cognitive behavioral therapy to help you feel resilient, resourced, and supported in unstable times. Psychological interviewing and assessment Do memes on social media have you feeling like you could be diagnosed with half a dozen mental health conditions? Turning to on-line quizzes and buzzy listicles makes perfect sense - we don’t have adequate mental health resources to meet the needs of all who need it in the US, the field of psychology has caused historic harms to marginalized communities, and we often "bootstrap" our way through what's ailing us. Working with a culturally responsive licensed mental health professional can help you gain clarity into your psychological and behavioral health, so you can focus on treatments that work and get the support you need and deserve. Trauma informed treatment Whether you’re looking for trauma focused support to help you recover and heal, or trauma informed support that understands how survivorship can impact all aspects of our lives, I’m here for you. I also offer Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Written Exposure Therapy (WET) for c/PTSD, which are manualized (read: get ready for homework!), empirically proven, brief interventions for past, recent, and complex trauma. Brains to the front! The human brain is complex and marvelous. Understanding how our brains work, and how we can learn to work with our brains instead of against them, opens pathways for healing and can free us from cycles of shame and guilt (you know, that inner voice that tells us we're doing it wrong or not being enough). Commitment to access for trans/GNC communities I offer pro bono assessments and support letters to access gender affirming medical procedures, and to support you through this process without gatekeeping.
