No matter where life has taken me, it was the constant companionship of Art - whether through music, poetry or photography - that has helped me weather the worst of storms. And now that neuroscience is showing us why Art and Creativity have such an incredible impact on our brain and bodies, I see that this potent healing path is accessible to many more of us than we might think. Using my science background, I work with clients to help them better understand their nervous system and to heal the important connections between brain, body, and environment. In session we explore these connections using visual colors, images, sound, movement, and many more sensory modalities so that clients can experience healing rather than just think about it. I hold a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Art Therapy from Wayne State University (2023), as well as a Masters in Health Informatics from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (2015), and a Bachelors in Science in Neuroscience from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor (2012). But more than my degrees, three things you should know about me is that I am a compassionate listener, an adventurous creative and a huge tea enthusiast!
