Hi, I'm Anna! As a seasoned LMFT, I have extensive experience working with youth, individuals, families, and couples. My clients want support with transitions, affected others of substance use, identity, communication/conflict resolution, personal growth, relationships, depression/anxiety, grief/loss, ADHD, Autism, OCD, and school. I work from a neurodiverse affirming practice/lens and work a lot with neurodiverse clients and their families. I have lived experience with neurodiversity. My clients want a safe place to feel seen, known, understood and connected. They also want practical tools to help them navigate life challenges. I have a special place in my heart for working with families, and couples and have advanced EFT training. I work with all clients from a systemic perspective. I focus on how people function in relationships with those around them, as well as ask about what is going on inside them. I incorporate solution focused therapy, CBT, and EFT as they relate to treatment. I have a Masters of Science: Marriage and Family Therapy and Masters of Education: School Counseling. Both are from Seattle Pacific University. I have been licensed as a counselor since 2014. I now supervise the work of other therapists. I am an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and AAMFT Clinical Fellow. Personally, I grew up near Seattle, WA. I lived in Seattle until I moved to Phoenix, AZ in 2021. I have been married for almost 20 years to my husband. I have a tween, a teen, and a pug. I am a life long learner and love books! When I am not working, I enjoy going to Christian concerts, being outside with friends and family, Bible study, and going to group exercise classes at Mountainside Fitness. I invite you to reach out for a strengths based approach that is trauma informed. I offer openness, curiosity, and respect as a counselor. I have extensive experience in childhood and adolescent therapy, family, and couple therapy. My passion is couple and family relationships! I welcome all of your hopes and fears. I will join you in them.
