Introduction

When it comes to therapy, choosing the right therapist is the first step in the right direction. Some might say the most crucial. As a counselor in training, it’s important above all for me to provide you with a positive counseling experience, whether this is your first time in therapy or your fifth. It takes immense courage and vulnerability to share our deepest thoughts and feelings, and being able to have a safe space where you feel comfortable doing so is my priority. Life is a winding road, and there will always be bumps along the way. Sometimes we experience bumps that cause mental distress and dysfunction. Sometimes these bumps can cause us to experience anxiety, depression, or both simultaneously. Some bumps feel bigger than others and are more impactful, but the biggest thing to remember is that no bump is insurmountable. Your journey will always continue on, and I hope to assist you on your ride and provide you with tools to better navigate through life. No one deserves to suffer in silence. There is always hope, even when your mind tells you there isn’t. I work with adults of all ages and prefer in-person sessions. “Mental health…is not a destination, but a process. It’s about how you drive, not where you’re going.” Noam Shpancer
