Introduction

I approach each person with kindness, humor and curiosity. Individuals and families, from all walks of life, will find a nonjudgmental space to build relationship and explore healing, personal growth and self reflection. I celebrate diversity in all its forms and welcome clients regardless of race, ethnicity, national origin, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, martial status, political belief, religion, mental or physical ability. I believe in treating everyone with compassion, respect and sensitivity. Life transitions are challenging, having an impartial person to talk with can make them manageable. With a person centered approach, I join with you using active listening, narrative and other therapeutic techniques, and including capitalizing on the strengths you bring to the room. I have experience in somatic techniques including Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Trauma Sensitive Yoga, mindfulness practices and other body based movement. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over ten years experience working with, adolescents and adults from traditional and non traditional family systems. I look forward to the opportunity to join with you in your wellness journey. Using methods that work for you, we’ll find ways to experience calm even in high stress.
