I have personal and professional experience with grief, loss, depression, blended families, teenage angst, middle school issues, the sandwich generation and aging. I have a great appreciation for a person seeking strength through their faith, no matter what it is. I do not judge, but I can be direct if it’s desired and I will help you move toward a solution focused treatment plan. I have worked in suburban and urban schools, retirement centers and a variety of not for profits. In addition, I have a breadth of experience working in high level government positions. In my private practice, I often times am with my very large and wonderful dog if you so desire. I prefer to be flexible and offer weekend and evening hours, if this meets your needs. Homework can be had if you want. I also believe nature is healing so if you seek to walk while we observe and talk, my practice is in an ideal setting in the northern suburbs.
