Introduction

Dr. Anjuli Amin is a second generation, South Asian, straight, cis woman, and a licensed clinical psychologist. Based in Los Angeles, Dr. Amin’s private practice was established to provide culturally competent mental health services for women of color (WOC). With a keen awareness of the many barriers WOC face when looking for quality mental health treatment, Dr. Amin has strived to create a space that is affirming and inclusive of her clients’ lived experiences and their intersecting identities. Dr. Amin is committed to working with clients who may be feeling tired from the daily grind of work and relationships, who may be seeking ways to connect with themselves, and who are trying to identify what it is they want out of life. She has found joy in helping women realize their inner strengths and develop effective tools to enhance their emotional health, allowing them to rise above the social and cultural pressures of our society. Many of Dr. Amin’s clients aspire to gain a greater understanding of who they are, find purpose in career, family, and relationships, and achieve a lasting sense of confidence and fulfillment.
