Introduction

Hello and welcome. I work with adults, teens, children, and families, in person in West LA and online. I apply trauma-informed, somatic, and attachment-focused modalities that get to the root sources of distress. I am trained in EMDR, a science-backed, mind-body approach that can speed up healing. Together, we work on deepening skills like self-compassion and emotional regulation so you can move through life’s challenges with more equanimity. Areas of speciality: depression, trauma symptoms, relationship issues, life transitions, identity questions, neurodivergence (ADHD, autism, sensory processing), and career challenges. My work with adults, we often focus on helping you understand—and own—your life’s story. Frequently, we explore earlier life experiences and the impact of family, culture, and life stage. We also look at ways to support your nervous system, which allows you to move from reactivity to choice in how you respond to stressful situations. If you are here because you're looking for a therapist for your child or teen, I see children and teens of all ages and work closely with parents. - For 0-5 and elementary-aged children, I use play and arts-based approaches to support growth and reflection. - With teens, I offer a space to explore their emerging independence, while providing ideas to support their emotional regulation, self-esteem, and identity development. - For parents, I offer practical guidance, support, and resources. I am trained in the Reflective Parenting Program, an evidence-based approach which uses ideas from attachment science to help strengthen the parent-child relationship. - I frequently collaborate with pediatric specialists, including physicians, neuropsychologists, psychiatrists, teachers and schools, and educational therapists. Like many therapists, this is not my first career. Previous careers in education and advertising, as well as time spent living abroad, add depth to my perspective. My approach is compassionate, curious, and affirming. Clients tell me I give them space to find their path, while offering tangible support with making the roadmap. I offer daytime, afternoon, and evening session times. I am an out-of-network provider. With PPO insurance, you can submit superbills for reimbursement. I am happy to call your insurance to confirm your out-of-network coverage. Please reach out if you'd like to have a free consultation over Zoom.
