She is client centered, which means she allows the client to move at an appropriate pace for the client and yet will gently push when needed. Her primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy & EMDR as it most closely aligns with her personal beliefs. Dr. Waggoner is trained as a Precept Leader. Precept is an in-depth Bible study program. As a Christian therapist, Dr. Waggoner believes it is wise to know how to adequately include biblical truths into therapy as requested by the client. Dr. Waggoner is a Symbis Facilitator. Symbis is a great program for couples who are considering marriage and/or re-marriage. In addition to Symbis, Dr. Waggoner is trained as a Prepare & Enrich facilitator.
