I currently have openings. Please email me for more information. I believe therapy works. Life can absolutely get so much better. It can be hard to know how to ‘human’ when faced with the realities of our existence, but you don’t have to search for the answers alone. You are not alone- many people are struggling to find something that will restore a sense of self, of belonging, purpose, and connection. I am here to support you in finding those missing pieces of your life and self. When you work with me, we will combine your knowledge of yourself and my knowledge of healing to create a path to the life and relationships you have been searching for. I offer a safe, inclusive, and judgement-free space where together, we can revisit your past, change your present, and create your best future. My approach is a good fit for those struggling with anxiety, identity, low self-esteem, self-criticism, grief, depression, relationship distress, post-trip psychedelic integration, and life transitions. I offer therapeutic therapies based on research, including an EMDR-style of therapy called Lifespan Integration for both Big-T and Little-t trauma. (https://lifespanintegration.com/#) I have experience working with: all ages of adults, the LGBTQIA+ community, people of many ethnicities, cultures, and spiritual backgrounds, as well as Poly/open relationships, PhD students, Living Internationally, Culture Shock and Reverse Culture Shock, Creatives and Entrepreneurs, those childless by choice (as well as parents), & Gamers and Geek Culture, just to name a few. I offer psychedelic integration therapy for those who have had experiences with psychedelic substances or who are undergoing Ketamine treatments in WA and would like to process their experiences in session. (Please note I *do not* provide any illegal substances or legal prescriptions, nor can I refer you to anyone who offers illegal services, nor can I offer sessions for those in a currently altered state of mind) Inclusive and Welcoming to All. I accept some insurance and can provide superbills for reimbursement.Current availability is weekdays via Telehealth. About me: I got a BA in History from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in medieval history and so promptly became a full-time server and bartender, eventually working in fine dining for several years. I was feeling extremely stuck and uncertain about my past or future path, so rather than get therapy, I sold all my possessions and moved abroad, first to Prague, and then to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) Vietnam, where I eventually got therapy. My experiences and desire to give back to the world in a meaningful way led me to the field of mental health counseling, and I came back to the US in 2018 to complete my Masters Degree, and soon moved to Seattle, WA to do so. In Seattle, I volunteered with a shelter for unhoused young people and with Crisis Connections, a suicide and crisis hotline. I worked at a community mental health agency and facilitated an LGBTQ support group and an Art for Coping support group, as well working with clients individually. I started my own private practice in November 2021. Outside of my role as a counselor & coach, I am an animal lover who loves sci-fi and fantasy, cooking, and traveling as much as possible.
