As a family systems therapist with an interest in couples reconciliation therapy and healing relational trauma from infidelity, I am passionate about walking beside you to work through the pain and confusion of your life situation. Intimate betrayal is one of the most devastating and disorienting events that can happen to a relationship. The betrayed partner is left questioning fundamental beliefs and wrestling with the very existence of truth, love and relationship history. I incorporate the Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model from the Association of Partners of Sex Addiction Trauma Specialists (APSATS) into my work with hurting partners. In addition, I bring a trauma informed mindset and use the Attachment Theory lens to promote a non-shaming growth orientation. I also work with couples using the Gottman Method Sound House Theory for those struggling to build communication and intimacy levels.
