Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Heart to Heart Therapy LLC
Specialties: Trauma, PTSD, Emotional Abuse, Anxiety, Depression,

Introduction

Hi! I’m Angela, a licensed marriage and family therapist, working with individuals in Wisconsin and Michigan. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, trauma, or the weight of past experiences, therapy can be a space to slow down, get curious, and gently begin to untangle what’s been holding you back. I specialize in working with adults who are thoughtful, often sensitive, and motivated to deepen self-understanding, heal old wounds, and feel like themselves again. I believe that effective therapy depends greatly on the therapeutic relationship and I strive to create an atmosphere of warmth, genuineness, and respect — where you not only feel welcome and heard, but deeply understood. I would consider it an honor to be entrusted with your story and walk alongside you on your journey toward healing. I believe we all have the innate capacity to heal ourselves but often need someone to support and guide us in that journey. As an integrative therapist, I blend a variety of modalities to create a specialized approach to healing for each person. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and an EMDR consultant. I am Level 3 trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), a parts work model that helps clients cultivate a more harmonious relationship with all parts of themselves by accessing their inner wisdom. I have training in Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO), which builds on IFS concepts to enhance relationships. Additionally, I am Level 1 trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP), a body-based approach that supports nervous system regulation and trauma processing. In my free time, I enjoy reading, doing anything creative, watching period-piece television shows, and spending time with my husband, and dog, Remy.
