I am a humanist, believing that everyone has the potential to grow, learn, and change. At their core, I believe that all people are good. I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Elizabeth City State University in 2014, and a Master of Social Work degree in 2017 from Norfolk State University. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Social Work. I have worked with all age groups in various settings addressing various diagnoses to include depression, anxiety, conduct, adjustment, phase of life and more. My primary theoretical approach is cognitive behavioral. I have worked both in direct care and in management roles. I am also a United States Navy Veteran and understand challenges endemic to this special population. My personal hobbies are reading, singing, and traveling.
