I take on a small number of clients so that I am able to provide high-quality, consistent care. I show up to sessions balanced and ready to focus on you. A Little About Me: I am originally from the Southside of Chicago where I spent most of my childhood summers. My family moved around quite a bit, but I spent most of my childhood and adulthood in Tacoma. I run and practice yoga as ways to unwind. There's a good chance that I am listening to an audiobook while doing chores around the house. I also love an impromptu dance party with my daughter and dog. I became an Associate Clinical Social Worker in 2022 and immediately began working as an Eating Disorder Therapist before venturing off to start my own business. Before that, I worked in many positions as an Advocate to students of all ages, parents, domestic violence victims/survivors, and more. Through my work and life experiences I have been able to witness and experience the different ways that support can look. It can be biological or chosen family, a community of people, an organization, or at times, it can come solely from within. My experiences have also allowed me to witness the beauty and progression that diversity brings and I am passionate about promoting that. This is why I provide a service that is unique to each person I serve. Here are some goals I have helped clients with: -Identify your options and make the best choice(s) for you. -Advocate for yourself and those you care about. -Determine and uphold boundaries. -Establish and maintain self-care methods that work for you. -Cultivate fulfilling relationships. -Miscellaneous goals unique to individuals.
