There are many reasons that a person may seek counseling. Facing hardships in life can be very difficult, especially when trying to navigate them alone. Letting others into our pain and circumstances can be scary, but it can also be a time for immense growth. Therapy can provide both support and hope as a person works towards a greater sense of wholeness and healing. I enjoy helping people gain a greater sense of identity and purpose through a creative, emotionally focused, and experiential approach to therapy. My clinical interests include anxiety, mood disorders, grief, family of origin trauma, meaning, and shame. I also enjoy working with individuals in the helping professions struggling with burnout, fatigue, etc. Maybe you find yourself hoping for a bit more out of life. Maybe you have been feeling emotional pain for some time and you're wondering if there is a different way. I seek to help hurting people see themselves more clearly, develop an understanding of their challenges, identify where they came from, and face them with a new found courage.
