I am a licensed psychologist with experience treating adults, young adults, athletes, and couples. My approach to therapy is fundamentally supportive, client-centered and humanistic. I think of my role as facilitating growth rather than dictating how one should or should not live. I work to be authentic and real with my clients and believe that a positive therapeutic relationship can lead to the most meaningful changes. I am PSYPACT approved, which allows me to provide teletherapy in 28 other PSYPACT states. I currently provide teletherapy and in person therapy to individuals and couples. I received a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from William James College in Boston, Massachusetts then completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at UCLA where I received training in sport psychology and student-athlete mental health. This led me to the University of Northern Colorado from 2018-2022, where I provided therapy to student-athletes, faculty and staff. I'm grounded in psychodynamic and relational theories that explore one's emotions, relationships, strengths, and life experiences to promote growth and lasting change. I also utilize behavioral and solution focused interventions to enhance anxiety management and emotion regulation skills.
