As a therapist, my greatest joy is to watch my clients complete treatment feeling empowered, resourced, confident, valued, free and whole. Often, healing is not a single event but a continuum that takes intentional time and space. My therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that we are mind, body and spirit and as we address each part of ourselves, we can strive to become our most authentic self. I am passionate about working with clients who have experienced different forms of trauma (physical, emotional, psychological, etc.). While trauma is complex, we have found it occurs both in the presence of a disturbing event, and in the absence of love and safety. Learning to integrate emotions after a perceived threat to self can be challenging and one of the most vulnerable things we do. Giving yourself the time and space to process and heal is truly a priceless gift. I consider it a privilege to walk through difficult seasons with my clients, whether that looks like depression, anxiety, or a mixture of feelings you cannot make sense of. Remember, it is OK to ask for help!
