Many people have experienced trauma in some form during their life. At times this trauma is a single obvious event, but at other times it is a chronic compilation of small events that led to feeling unsafe or unlovable. Along with trauma can come a host of secondary mental health and physical symptoms such as depression, anxiety, chronic pain, headaches, and many more. In successfully treating past trauma, I find that clients are able to live happier and healthier lives free of the constant triggers and emotional baggage they experience on a daily basis. I have focused my career as a therapist on obtaining experience and high quality training in the area of trauma. I am EMDR Certified and Flash Technique trained and focus on first helping a client develop the resources needed to navigate day to day triggers and then readiness to process past traumatic events. I believe strongly in the strengths of each person I work with. Each of us are doing the best we can on a daily basis, but at times we need help to learn a new skill, to see things in a different way, or to have support while we process difficult experiences from the past. I view myself as a support that helps unlock a client's potential to heal.
