I view it an honor to be welcomed into the lives and hearts of those I work with, and partner with my clients through the journey of self-discovery, building healthier coping skills, recognizing their resiliency and becoming excited about the possibility’s life has to offer moving forward. I'm passionate about helping my clients understand the biopsychosocial and interpersonal influences on their moods. I incorporate elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, emotional freedom technique, interpersonal and social rhythm therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, and harm reduction to create an approach that best suits the individual(s) I am working with. I view psychotherapy as a joint venture, working collaboratively to reach your goals. My style is direct, transparent, positive, warm, and interactive. I've been in practice 30 years, and see clients in NY, CA and CT. I have advanced practice and certifications in the fields of perinatal, maternal, reproductive and menopausal mental health.
