I genuinely believe contacting a therapist and pursuing therapy are acts of bravery and courage. I never lose sight of that. I tailor my approach to each individual, recognizing that some issues respond well to structured, short-term work, while others require a more in-depth, reflective process. Regardless of treatment approaches, I always keep in mind that each person is unique, and our work together will be shaped by their personal story and needs. My goal is to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported on their journey. My style is conversational and relational. I might use metaphors and analogies as tools to help visualize problems and solutions. Humor can also be therapeutic. Among the most powerful realizations I have experienced as a therapist is that as clients begin to reconnect with their inner strength and wisdom, profound transformation begins. It's an honor to be part of that journey. A little about me: I earned my master's in clinical social work from the University of Denver, focusing on issues, concerns, and complexities of adult life. Over the years, I've walked alongside adults facing an array of challenges: from the weight of depression and grip of anxiety, to the pain of loss and life transitions, relationship intricacies, health concerns, and the echoes of trauma. My experience has shown over and over again that therapy is a process of discovery - sometimes challenging, often illuminating, and deeply meaningful. I'm here to support you on this path, offering a space where together, we can work towards understanding and positive change.
