As a bilingual, Latina, holistic counselor I believe it's nice to have a safe and welcoming space to unload and learn in a world full of stigma and judgment. It is not abnormal to feel the pressures of everyday life and want to have some relief. With my experiences in addiction, trauma informed care, and countless hours of work with everyday people searching for understanding and compassion I invite you to join me in helping you better work your way through life. I am a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist that focuses on using compassion, mindfulness, and education to help adults learn how to implement new alternatives to deal with the journey and unexpected trials of life. I am committed to working with you to gain better self-awareness and skills to improve your overall well being. I believe a flexible and adaptable approach is key to honing in on your individual needs and goals. I strive to personalize my care to each of my clients and use my knowledge and expertise in substance abuse counseling, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness based practices to help you reach your full potential.
