As a trauma informed therapist, my goal is to work with you collaboratively on your healing journey. I believe that meeting you where you are at is key. As Carl Rogers suggests, we all have the inherent capacity to fulfill our own potential and in doing so, can find joy and meaning in life. I come from a previous career in public service as a Park Ranger of fourteen years, and while doing this work, found a passion in helping others who experienced trauma as part of a peer support team for both first responders and park visitors. I am an EMDR trained therapist through EMDRIA and also utilize other evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). In addition to these, I also utilize an Attachment focus as well as strengths-based approaches. I have experience with First Responder populations, the LGBTQ+ community, as well as couples, children, and adolescents.
