I believe that everyone has the ability to heal if they have a safe place to explore their feelings and experiences, and my goal is to provide that safe place in a non-judgmental, empowering way. I also use a solution-focused approach to help my clients identify their goals, explore solutions, and build on their existing resources. In addition, I have specialized training in EMDR therapy, a powerful, evidence-based therapy that helps individuals process and heal from trauma and other distressing life experiences. When it comes to couples counseling, my goal isn’t to fix the relationship, it’s to teach couples how to fix their own relationship. I do that through the Gottman Method, a mix of communication coaching, friendship building, and problem-solving support.
