Introduction
I believe unconditional positive regard in a therapeutic relationship can be a meaningful pathway for healing. My goal is to provide compassionate, empathetic care through holistic mental health practices. I believe that a successful outcome begins with authentic, respectful and empathetic relationships between client and therapist as the key for effective, healing treatment. I am an independent clinical social worker that has been in practice for over a decade providing evidence-based treatment, with experience in hospice care and serving the elderly population, including grief counseling. In addition, I have worked with families and adolescents who have been involved in the judicial system as an intervention specialist and advocate. I have also practiced in Hawaii, where I served a diverse demographic of clients and have been through a series of cultural sensitivity training. I also specialize in health and fitness support. I offer the option of either telehealth or in-office visits to my clients, so that they can choose the setting best suited to their needs.
