Thank you for visiting my page! I'm a warm, energetic, innovative counselor who is passionate about providing personalized counseling services to help you to feel better as soon as possible. When you walk into my office (or hop onto my secure telehealth platform), you will find a safe, non-judgmental place where you can be exactly who you are, while working toward the life that you want. I believe that counseling is most effective when it is based on you/your family's goals and needs and challenges you in a caring environment. I take your concerns seriously, but also use humor when appropriate and treat a wide range of issues. I monitor progress along the way since your time is important to me. I started Shine Counseling Center after my own journey with anxiety and parenting as a mother of 3. I use an eclectic approach and get to know my clients to find out which types of therapy may be most effective, based on research and my own experiences as a clinician. Clients describe me as authentic, empathetic, knowledgeable, and a great listener. Counseling with me is a partnership. I'll share resources and referrals along the way and we'll look at the whole picture of your life, Treatment may include real world experiments and homework. I know it's challenging to find a new counselor and I'm here to help.
