Introduction

Investing in you today matters… because where you will be tomorrow matters more. You are worthy of investing in you and doing the hard work that comes with being the best version of you! Let's LIFT - Live Intentionally For Tomorrow - together. LIFTing is difficult work. Especially when we’re feeling a lot (and when we’re not feeling at all). Emotions that brew from a place of frustration, disappointment, loss, anger, confusion, uncertainty, worry, or being stuck, to name a few, require exploration and awareness that most often brings about discomfort. Unfortunately, we have to ‘feel’ that pain to overcome it. As a social worker, I practice a person-centered, strengths-based, trauma-focused approach to therapy. I work with individuals that are victims of trauma, teens who struggle with compulsive behavior and emotional distress, families who have difficulty working through their differences, adults who want more out of life and to worry less, and couples longing for strengthened partnerships. What you have experienced in life – from the crucial years since the moment you were born – has impacted you up until this very moment. With those experiences come little keepsakes that you subconsciously tuck away in your personal suitcase a.k.a. baggage. Some are weathered and torn, some may be unrecognizable, and yet some are pristine, endearing, and cherished. The memories and narratives you have tied to these keepsakes shapes your identity; your personality and temperament and your values and beliefs, all of which in turn influence your daily thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. We not only thrive through human connection, it’s how we survive. Connecting with the right therapist is part of that journey. Whether you are a family, an individual, or a couple seeking balance, understanding, healing, or just a better you, I’m here to help. And, I graciously look forward to getting to be that human you choose to connect and grow with.
