Introduction

It is not always what happens to us that impacts us but rather, how we respond to what happened. You are brave, to have identified a problematic issue/issues in your life, and then to seek the support you need to make changes that will move you toward the person you want to be. My name is Amy Kellerman, I am a licensed and board-certified professional counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. I am also a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, with over 18 years of experience in the human service field and have worked with children, adolescents, teens, adults, older individuals, couples, and families. My therapeutic approach is strength based and individualized. The therapy I provide is tailored to meet your needs and is a combination of both behavioral and humanistic approaches. This includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, Motivational Enhancement and Mindfulness therapies. My professional concentrations include addiction, depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, grief, interpersonal and relationship issues, aging and geriatric issues, adjustment issues and coping with life changes. I commend you for your courage and commitment and would be honored to assist you in your process and personal journey.
