Introduction

Amy Datla is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor, Licened Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy. She maintains a virtual private practice in Florida and in North Carolina and has over 20 years of clinical experience as a mental health counselor and has been providing clinical supervision as a Qualified Supervisor for over 10 years. She resides in Asheville, NC with her amazing multicultural Family of Color. Amy is an integrative, inclusive and culturally responsive therapist with advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy. She is also trained in EMDR and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and incorporates a variety of techniques, including, mindfulness, cognitive- behavioral and solution- focused strategies. Her therapeutic approach includes providing an emotionally safe and supportive space and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
