MY APPROACH I believe that our brains and bodies naturally want to cooperate together to find health and balance. Therefore, lasting improvements in mental health require embodied interventions as well as intellectual and cognitive ones. My integrated therapy approach utilizes appropriate techniques and frameworks to formulate an individualized treatment plan - with a healthy mix of directness, non-judgment, and humor. MY TRAINING I have formal training in the areas of clinical social work, public health, yoga and mindfulness, women’s health, and healthy sexuality. I work from feminist, relational, and anti-oppression frameworks. I openly welcome clients from all backgrounds who have experienced marginalization because of race, ability, immigration status, sexuality and/or gender identity.
