Introduction

Amy has been providing trauma-informed services since receiving her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Ohio State University in 2013. Prior to that, Amy received Bachelor of Arts degrees in Health & Human Services - Community Mental Health and Sociology from the University at Buffalo. Amy believes the path towards healing begins with a strong therapeutic relationship, based on a true acceptance of the person and their experiences. Regardless of what brings you to counseling, you will be met without judgement in an environment of genuine support and compassion. In addition to treating anxiety, depression and relationship problems that are often rooted in trauma, Amy has a passion for treating first responders and has received specialized training to ensure she can meet the unique needs of these individuals.
