Amy Adams is a compassionate and dedicated registered clinical social work intern (RCSWI) with a master’s degree in clinical social work. With a strong commitment to supporting individuals on their mental health journeys, she utilizes a holistic and empathetic approach to therapy, ensuring that clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Focusing on a client-centered approach the client is always in the driver's seat and in control of their healing journey. My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from various modalities to tailor treatment to each client's unique needs. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic alliance, as I believe a trusting relationship is foundational for effective therapy. I often incorporate elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns, as well as mindfulness techniques to promote self-awareness and emotional regulation. Additionally, I value the insights of psychodynamic therapy, exploring how past experiences shape current behaviors and relationships. I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can express themselves freely. Together, we work to set achievable goals, fostering resilience and empowering clients to navigate their challenges with greater confidence and insight.
