Amber is the assistant director of North Gwinnett Counseling Associates, LLC. She is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Georgia and a licensed professional clinical counselor (LCPC) in Illinois. She received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL in 2002. She began practicing in a community mental health center where she gained valuable experience in counseling individuals, couples, and families. She developed expertise in some of the most difficult problems facing individuals and families such as addictions, anger management and family violence intervention. Amber has been in private practice since 2006 where she enjoys working with teens, adults, and families. She is a well seasoned, skillful, and empathetic therapist. She is goal oriented and strength focused. Her specialties include relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and stress management
